from: http://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/show-synopsis-s4siam.aspx
LAST WEEK… (SEPTEMBER 4, 2005)
THE VOTES WERE CAST…
THE PEOPLE HAVE SPOKEN…

In the very first Elimination Night of The Search for the Star in a Million Season 2, that will alternate fort-weekly with the with performance nights, the most unexpected twists and results in the competition happened.

After adding the accumulated text and phone votes that make up 50% of the final score to the current 50% of the final score from the average of the searchers’ scores, Anna Baluyot, Joey Ignacio and Ais Roxas were deemed the weakest in The Champions League of Twelve.

They were made to compete in a final showdown, being given a second and final chance to sing their contest pieces from the Gary Valenciano night. Their performance in this final showdown became the final basis for the final judgement.

Anna Baluyot belted out “Take Me Out of the Dark” to the best of her ability. Ais Roxas tried to reach out to her audience with her rendition on “Reaching Out” and Joey Ignacio melodiously sang “I Will Be Here.” After the final showdown, the searchers made a final decision.

Anna Baluyot, the Power Belter saw her final day in competition with a loving tribute to her on video by SSIAM2 and with her fellow Grand Finalists never letting her go as they hugged her onstage while she sang her final song for the last time. Her heartfelt rendition, on the verge of tears was very moving and showed us her true fighting spirit… that till the end, she still gave it her best.

But like any competition, there are hits and misses… the rest of the champions league proceed to the next level of competition as they have been using the past week preparing for the next performance night!

THIS WEEK… (SEPTEMBER 11, 2005)

SOUL…R&B…DISCO DIVAS…MOTOWN…

The best of black music is on SSIAM2 this Sunday on black is black night! The Champions League chose their own competition songs from some of the best African-American Artists’ Hits.

Expect to groove to r&b vibes, be awed by soulful renditions and get up on your feet with disco dancing!

This week’s performances will be the basis for the first 50% of the grand finalists score again since all scores and texts are back to zero now.
